Role: Talent Management

 

Role Purpose
The Talent Manager formulates tactical strategy and associated delivery plans related to multiple practice areas, ensuring practice integration and operational implementation of the Organisation’s Talent objectives to ensure current and future talent requirements are met for sustainable business performance. The role incumbent designs and develops a Talent framework that enables the integration and implementation of robust talent management practices, policies and processes across the entire employee life-cycle from attraction to alumni including; employer branding, attraction, sourcing, assessments, recruitment, on-boarding, performance management, learning and development and exits. In addition, the role incumbent ensures the effective implementation of succession planning in the Organisation to ensure a pipeline of future leaders for key roles. The role incumbent provides thought leadership and partners with HR and business to achieve the organisations’s talent objectives while ensuring good corporate governance. Key to this role is the ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with stakeholders, peers and direct reports.
Responsibilities
  • Designs and ensures the implementation of an integrated Talent framework
  • Participates in planned activities that are appropriate for own and staff development in area of responsibility
  • Implements performance management across the area of responsibility
  • Ensures legislative compliance and alignment to group frameworks whilst fulfilling business objectives
  • Manages the business processes for area of responsibility
  • Identifies stakeholders and builds relationships with critical partners across the business
  • Plans, secures and controls the annual budget/s for area of responsibility
  • Researches, designs and implements best practice customer service solutions
  • Ensures resourcing decisions are aligned to the Transformation Plan
  • Enables the achievement of current and future talent requirements
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum Qualification - Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences
  • Preferred Qualification - Post graduate degree in Social Sciences
  • Experience - 8 – 10 years progressive HR experience with 5 years developing and implementing integrated Talent strategies

Position Remuneration Special development

 

Role Purpose
The Remuneration and Benefit Specialist develops, implements and monitors remuneration, reward and employee benefits policies, systems and procedures to ensure best practices. The incumbent will provide financial management support to the Human Capital function and researches, implements and monitors role grading policy and processes and ensure its implementation is aligned with group policies.
Responsibilities
  • Advises and provides financial management support to the Human Resource function
  • Ensures resourcing decisions are aligned to the Transformation Plan
  • Manages the business processes for area of responsibility
  • Designs, develops, implements and monitors the remuneration, reward, employee benefits and role grading policies, processes and practice
  • Plans, organises, implements and controls the Organisations Annual Salary Review
  • Researches, designs, implements and reviews the role grading system
  • Ensures continuous process improvement to enable effective operational processes
  • Identifies stakeholders and builds relationships with critical partners across the business
  • Creates solutions to meet customer demands
  • Requests budget and controls expenditure
  • Participates in planned activities that are appropriate for own development
  • Promotes teamwork amongst peers and team members
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum Qualification - Bachelor in Commerce degree
  • Preferred Qualification - Post Graduate / Honours degree and a Remuneration Qualification
  • Experience - At least five years’ experience in remuneration, reward and employee benefits
