Benefits of Membership

The Institute of People Management (IPM) continually strives to be at the forefront of people management and development. We recognise that in an increasingly competitive global economy, it is the discretionary contribution of people that is a core differentiator for success.

We work hard at IPM to understand the conditions that impact the economy, the opportunities and challenges facing business, and the role HR Profession can play. Our package of membership benefits and services is designed to equip HR professionals with the strategic thinking and practical tools they need to influence impact in the workplace.

IPM offers both individual and corporate membership. Corporate membership allows multiple memberships to be taken out within the same organisation at a discounted rate. Corporate members also benefit from being able to change representative members at their convenience if employees leave or join the organisation.

IPM Mentoring programme

We are intent on supporting and building the Profession for both today and tomorrow. It is thus a pleasure to introduce this new benefit – one of the practical ways in which we  are tapping into the needs of Business and our Profession – the Institute of People Management Mentoring Programme.

The Programme connects HR leaders and aspiring HR practitioners in mentoring relationships, a powerful way of enabling the knowledge, skills and experience of well respected and credible HR leaders in the Profession to be shared with aspiring practitioners. This programme has been developed to open up and expand networks for career and professional development, and to help HR practitioners to increase their impact and contribution to the overall sustainable organisation performance of the business in which they operate. The programme is open to members only for mentorship and mentee opportunities.
